ChickRoulette.com (“ChickRoulette”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a free, anonymous random video chat platform available at chickroulette.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of our website and services.

By accessing or using ChickRoulette, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.

## Data We Collect

Because ChickRoulette does not require registration or account creation, we collect minimal technical data solely for the purpose of operating the platform and ensuring security. This may include:

- **Usage Data** — aggregate, anonymised data about how the platform is used (e.g. number of active sessions, skip rates) for the purpose of improving the service. This data cannot be used to identify any individual user.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data we collect to third parties for marketing purposes.

## What We Don’t Collect

ChickRoulette is designed to be anonymous by default. We explicitly do not collect or store the following:

- Your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifying information
- Account credentials — there are no accounts on ChickRoulette
- Your video or audio stream — sessions are peer-to-peer and not routed through or recorded by our servers
- Chat logs or message content from text chat sessions
- Your location beyond the country level derived from your IP address
- Any payment information — ChickRoulette is entirely free
- Social media profiles or linked accounts

Your video and audio are transmitted directly between users via WebRTC peer-to-peer technology. ChickRoulette’s servers do not see, record, or store your camera or microphone feed at any point.

## Cookies & Tracking

ChickRoulette uses a limited number of cookies to ensure the platform functions correctly. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or build advertising profiles.

- **Essential Cookies** — required for the platform to function, including session management and security tokens. These cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
- **Analytics Cookies** — we may use privacy-focused analytics tools (such as Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled) to understand aggregate usage patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected through these cookies.

## Video Sessions

All video and audio communication on ChickRoulette is transmitted using WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) technology. This means your video and audio stream travels directly between your device and the device of the person you are chatting with — not through our servers.

ChickRoulette does not:

- Record, capture, or store your video or audio
- Monitor the content of your video sessions
- Share your video stream with any third party
- Retain any data about the content of your conversations

While we do not record sessions, we cannot prevent other users from recording your video using third-party screen recording software. We strongly advise users not to share sensitive personal information during video sessions.

Users who encounter illegal, abusive, or inappropriate content during a session should use the in-session report function immediately.

## Third-Party Services

ChickRoulette may use third-party services to support the operation of the platform. These services may collect data independently in accordance with their own privacy policies. Current or potential third-party services include:

## Minors

ChickRoulette is strictly an adult platform intended for users aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

While we take security seriously, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted through our platform.
