**The short version:** Be an adult. Be respectful. Don’t share anything illegal or harmful. If someone makes you uncomfortable, hit Skip or Report. We take safety seriously and enforce these guidelines without exception.

## Our Community

ChickRoulette is a free, anonymous random video chat platform built for adults who want genuine, spontaneous connections with strangers from around the world. We connect people from over 180 countries every single day — and what makes that work is a shared commitment to basic respect and responsible behaviour.

These Community Guidelines exist to make sure ChickRoulette stays a place where adults can connect freely, have fun, and feel safe doing it. They apply to every user on the platform regardless of location, device, or session type.

By using ChickRoulette you confirm that you have read these guidelines and agree to follow them. Violations may result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform.

## The Golden Rules

Everything in these guidelines flows from four core principles. If you remember nothing else, remember these:

Do

- Treat every person you meet with basic respect
- Use Skip freely — it’s there for a reason
- Report content or behaviour that violates these guidelines
- Keep your interactions consensual at all times
- Take responsibility for what you share on camera

Don’t

- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Share content that is illegal in any jurisdiction
- Impersonate another person or deceive users
- Record or screenshot others without consent
- Use the platform if you are under 18

## Zero Tolerance

        The following violations result in immediate permanent ban and, where required by law, reporting to relevant authorities including law enforcement and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

There are no warnings, no appeals, and no exceptions for the following:

- **Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)** — Any content that sexually exploits or depicts minors in any way. We report all instances to NCMEC and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
- **Minors on the platform** — Anyone under 18 years of age accessing or attempting to access ChickRoulette. If you suspect a minor is using the platform, report it immediately.
- **Non-consensual intimate content** — Sharing, streaming, or distributing intimate images or video of any person without their explicit consent.
- **Threats of violence** — Credible threats of real-world harm directed at any individual, group, or community.
- **Terrorism and extremist content** — Any content that promotes, glorifies, or facilitates acts of terrorism or violent extremism.

## Content Standards

ChickRoulette is an 18+ adult platform. While we allow consensual adult interactions between users, all content must comply with the following standards:

**Prohibited content includes:**

- Hate speech — content that attacks, dehumanises, or promotes violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Graphic violence or gore — content depicting real-world violence, physical harm, or death intended to shock or disturb
- Self-harm promotion — content that encourages, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide
- Spam and commercial solicitation — using the platform to advertise products or services, solicit payments, or distribute unsolicited links
- Malware and phishing — sharing links or files designed to harm, infect, or deceive other users
- Doxxing — sharing or threatening to share private personal information about another individual without their consent

**Regarding adult content:**

As an 18+ platform, consensual adult content between users is permitted within the bounds of these guidelines. All participants must be verified adults and all activity must be fully consensual. Any sexual content involving minors is a zero-tolerance violation — see Section 3.

## Respect & Consent

Consent is non-negotiable on ChickRoulette. Every interaction must be welcome by both parties. If someone skips you, that is their answer — do not attempt to circumvent the matching system to reconnect with a user who has moved on.

Respect also means:

- Not pressuring, coercing, or manipulating other users into any type of interaction
- Accepting a user’s decision to skip or disconnect without retaliation
- Not using deceptive tactics — including fake personas, misleading thumbnails, or false promises — to manipulate other users
- Respecting the cultural and personal boundaries of users from different backgrounds
- Not recording, screenshotting, or capturing another user’s video stream without their explicit consent

Remember: the Skip button exists for a reason. Use it freely and respect it when others use it. A skip is not a personal attack — it’s just the roulette wheel spinning again.

## Your Safety

Your safety is your responsibility too. ChickRoulette provides tools to help, but we encourage every user to practise smart habits:

- **Never share personal information** — this includes your full name, address, phone number, email, social media handles, workplace, or school
- **Never share financial information** — do not share card numbers, bank details, or send money to anyone you meet on the platform
- **Be cautious with links** — do not click links shared by strangers in text chat. They may lead to phishing pages or malware
- **Trust your instincts** — if an interaction feels uncomfortable or unsafe, skip immediately and report if necessary
- **Be aware of recording** — while ChickRoulette does not record sessions, other users may. Behave on camera as you would in public
- **Secure your environment** — be mindful of what is visible in your background during video sessions

## Reporting

If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these Community Guidelines, please report it immediately. Reporting helps protect every user on the platform.

**How to report during a session:**

- Use the in-session report button to flag the current user
- Select the category that best describes the violation
- You will be automatically disconnected from the reported user

**How to report outside a session:**

- Visit our [report page](https://chickroulette.com/report) to submit a detailed report
- Include as much detail as possible — time, nature of the violation, any screenshots if relevant

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We take every report seriously. Abusing the report system by making false reports is itself a violation of these guidelines.

## Enforcement

ChickRoulette enforces these guidelines through a tiered system based on the severity and frequency of violations. We reserve the right to apply any enforcement action at our sole discretion.

Warning
            
              **Verbal Warning**
              For first-time, minor violations. A warning is issued and the behaviour is logged. Repeated violations escalate automatically.

Temp Ban
            
              **Temporary Suspension**
              For repeated minor violations or a single moderate violation. Access is suspended for a defined period ranging from 24 hours to 30 days.

Perm Ban
            
              **Permanent Ban**
              For serious or repeated violations. Access is permanently revoked. Attempts to circumvent a permanent ban via new sessions or VPNs are themselves violations.

Legal Action
            
              **Law Enforcement Referral**
              For zero-tolerance violations including CSAM, credible threats of violence, and terrorism-related content. We report immediately to the relevant authorities and cooperate fully with investigations.

## Appeals

If you believe your account or session was suspended or banned in error, you may submit an appeal via our contact page. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Please note:

- Zero-tolerance violations (see Section 3) are not eligible for appeal under any circumstances
- Appeals must be submitted within 30 days of the enforcement action
- You must provide your session details and a clear explanation of why you believe the action was made in error
- Our moderation team’s decision on appeals is final

We aim to respond to all appeals within 14 business days.
